Green Sense Charity Walk 2023 is our annual fund-raising event. Different from the past few years, the activity will be held in the city instead of the countryside. Let’s take a walk!

In this walk, participants can experience the walk at the first marine viaduct containing carriageway, cycle track and footway in Hong Kong – Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link. After that, they can enjoy the breeze along the Kwun Tong Promenade. Passing the new development of Kai Tak, participants may explore the old district in To Kwa Wan. Finally yet importantly, the magnificent view of the Victoria Harbour indicates the end of the journey.

There are two routes in this event: “Full version” and “Barrier Free”. Participants can line any route at any time on their own within the event period (until 21 May 2023) .

(A) Barrier-free

LOHAS Park to Tiu Keng Leng

Distance ~ 3 km | Duration ~ 1 hour

Kick-off at LOHAS Park → Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link → End at Tiu Keng Leng

(B) Full Version

LOHAS Park to Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier

Distance ~ 20 km | Duration ~ 7 hours

Kick-off at LOHAS Park → Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link → Bmcpc footpath→ Yau Tong MTR Station→ Tin Hau Temple – Cha Kwo Ling → Kwun Tong Promenade → Green@Kwun Tong→ Electrical and Mechanical Services Department → Kai Tak Sports Park→ Kowloon City Ferry Pier→ Hoi Sham Park → Hung Hom Ferry Pier→ End at Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier

How To Support

(1) Individual participation

A minimum donation amount of HKD200 for a souvenir pack which include ONE bamboo toothbrush, ONE pair of arm sleeves from The Overlander and ONE set of gift coupons)

(2) Family participation

A minimum donation amount of HKD 500 for TWO souvenir packs and ONE e-certificate

(3) Corporates / Team participation

A minimum donation amount of HKD 2000 for FOUR souvenir packs and ONE e-certificate. Extra donation amount of HKD 500 for each additional participant.

【Requirements】

1. Finish the target distance within the event period.

2. Participants can use any exercise recording app to record the route and length.

3. After submitting the screenshot of the route record and the selfie or group photo at the checkpoints, participants can get a finisher pack (ONE “Leave No Trace” badge and ONE reusable umbrella cover)

4. The first 20 completion and submission will be awarded the wood products sponsored by Islandoffer exclusively.
