We are looking for suitable candidates who are passionate in Waste reduction and Environmental Education to join our team.

Job Duties

  • Mainly be responsible for Municipal Solid Waste Charging Trial Programme and related activities
  • Assisting online and face-to-face events such as DIY workshop and seminar/webinar
  • Handling online promotion such as maintaining website, social media platforms and advertising
  • Communicating with the Government departments, public and private sectors, schools, other NGOs & the public members
  • Supporting events at night, on weekends and outdoor occasionally

Requirements

  • 2 years working experience are desired
  • Tertiary education graduate in relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science or other related fields
  • Basic skill in popular graphic software (e.g. Photoshop or illustrator) is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Immediate available is highly considered

ECF “See the World of Nature” – Nature Tutor Training Programme for Kindergartens is funded by the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF), organised by Green Sense and assisted by Natural Network. This training programme targets kindergarten teachers and tertiary students studying early childhood education who are interested in natural education. Trainees would be taught to lead activities and games by using an infant picture book “The Colours of Nature”, which cultivates children’s enthusiasm towards the nature.

As the new trend of online learning, electronic books are popular among various kinds of e-learning materials. To response to the trend, Green Sense first launched the free audiobook “The Colours of Nature”. You may enjoy the audiobook with kids to explore the beautiful nature!

“The Colours of Nature” is funded and published by the Environment and Conservation Fund, jointly designed by Green Sense and Teresa Chan @ Offbeat Village. The story is about the interesting experience of a little girl in her first family camping, which encourages infants to discover the beauty of nature.

The Programme offers 4 Online Talks and 4 Outdoor Trainings (including 1 Outdoor Training Camp). Trainees would be encouraged to cultivate children’s enthusiasm towards the nature, and inspire them on the ecological education. Trainees would be taught to lead activities and games by using the newly developed infant picture book, which enhances their skills in exploring and understanding the nature with children.

Training Details
Quota: 30
Target: Kindergarten teachers or tertiary students studying early childhood education are preferred
Fee: Free of charge, participants will have to pay $1000 as deposit (Deposit will be fully refunded after finishing the entire training programme)
Requirements:
1. The attendance rate of  Online Talks, Outdoor Trainings and Outdoor Training Camp not less than 70%
2. Completion of 2 practical sessions
The $1000 deposit will be refunded and a certificate will be awarded after meeting the above requirements.
