Junior Research Officer

Founded in 2004, Green Sense is a local charitable non-governmental organization. We are looking for a suitable candidate who is passionate in urban planning and environmental protection to join our team as Junior Research Officer.
Job Duties
  1. Formulating and assisting campaigns to raise public awareness in urban environment issues
  2. Responding promptly to environment and city planning policies
  3. Gathering and analyzing information
  4. Communicating closely with different parties, writing submissions and opinions
  5. Outdoor field work and research
  6. Providing assistance for office operation and environmental activities

Requirements

  • Graduates from Urban Planning, Journalism, Social Science or relevant fields are preferred
  • Good knowledge and sensitive to current affairs, especially in urban planning and environmental issues
  • 1-2 years working experiences is an advantage
  • Outdoors and flexible working hours may be required
  • Able to work independently
  • Proficiency in computer skills to complete job duties

Project Officer

Founded in 2004, Green Sense is a local charitable green group. We are looking for a suitable candidate who is passionate in environmental education and ecological protection to join our team as Project Office.

Job Duties

  1. Mainly be responsible for environmental educational project and related activities
  2. Work with the Government, public and private sectors, schools, other NGOs & the community, for overseeing the effectiveness of the project
  3. Assist events such as workshop, seminar, eco-tour
  4. Handle online promotion such as maintaining website, social media platforms and advertising
  5. Work on weekends and outdoor occasionally

Requirements

  • At least 2 years working experience, environmental education experiences are greatly considered
  • Tertiary education graduate in relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science or Biology preferred
  • Basic skill in popular graphic software (e.g. Photoshop or illustrator) is an advantage
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
